ABOUT MARTA

As both a student and teacher of yoga, Marta is deeply passionate about the ways breath, movement, stillness, mindfulness, and nature can nurture and transform our lives. She completed over 300 hours of yoga teacher training and leads both 1-to-1 and group classes, co-creates and holds retreats, and contributes to community events both privately and within the NHS setting.

With a keen interest in physical and mental health, she guides students to connect with their bodies and minds on a somatic level — cultivating awareness and tapping into the body's natural capacity for healing.

Her experience includes working with students managing chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, supporting those recovering from injury, and offering a safe and inclusive space for neurodivergent students.

TEACHING APPROACH

Community is at the heart of all that Marta does. Her classes offer an environment where students are invited to explore movement with intention, while connecting with one another.

Her aim is to support students in finding balance, resilience, and harmony both on and off the mat. She holds space with warmth, care, and deep sensitivity — creating a class that feels genuinely safe and inclusive for everyone who enters.

THE CLASSES

Candlelight Yin Yoga

A beautiful way to start your week

Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into your body and mind, exploring each pose with mindful awareness.

Slow, floor-based postures are held for several minutes, allowing deep release in the muscles and fascia - the connective tissues while fostering stillness and mindfulness.

Carefully curated music and the soft flicker of candlelight set the tone for a deeply restorative experience.

This practice is for every body, regardless of shape, size, or ability.

Come as you are, wearing loose, comfortable clothing.

Leave feeling calm, clear, and deeply nourished.

Sun Salutation Yoga

This gentle and energising yoga class, centred around Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) is a perfect way to start your day.

We’ll be moving through a mindful sequence of postures linked with the breath, building warmth, strength, mobility and focus in the body and mind.

Structure and repetition allow you to become more comfortable in the postures, explore your practice more deeply, and notice your progress over time.

We’ll finish with a few restorative postures to soothe the nervous system and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed and ready for the weekend.

This practice is for every body, regardless of shape, size, or ability.
