Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Somatic Therapies Centre, we keep our classes intentionally small (maximum 6 mats) to ensure personal attention. Because space is limited, our cancellation and refund policies are designed to keep things fair for both students and teachers.

Class Cancellations

  • Standard classes: Please cancel at least 6 hours before your class to avoid being charged.

  • Late cancellations / no-shows: Classes cancelled less than 6 hours before the start time, or unattended bookings, will be charged in full.

  • Community classes (£6): Non-refundable once booked.

 

Class Packs & Memberships

  • Class packs are valid for 3 months from purchase. Unused classes will expire after this time.

  • Memberships renew automatically each month. They can be cancelled anytime with 7 days’ notice before the next billing date.

  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in cases of medical need (see below).

 

Refunds

  • Drop-ins, class packs, and memberships are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or injury, with supporting evidence).

  • If Somatic Therapies Centre cancels a class, you will receive either:

    • A class credit (preferred), or

    • A full refund if no suitable alternative is available.

 

Transfers

  • You may transfer a class credit to another student once per pack, as long as it is used before the expiry date.

 

Workshops & Special Events​

  • These sessions are priced individually. Pls check out all the details if there isn’t a specific policy mentioned in the event description, we will refer to this general policy.

  • Full refund if cancelled more than a week before the event

  • 50% refund if cancelled up to 1 week before the event

  • 25% refund if cancelled up to 48 hrs before the event

  • No Refund if cancelled less than 48 hrs before the event

 

Summary

  • Cancel ≥ 6 hours: credit back

  • Cancel < 6 hours: charged

  • Packs expire after 3 months

  • Memberships renew monthly, cancel with 7 days’ notice

  • No refunds except medical / studio cancellation
