I am passionate about wellbeing and empowering others to lead lives they love and find fulfilling. My background is in therapeutic mental health and caring roles.

I have been practicing yoga and meditation for almost a decade, since I discovered them as a university student. They are such anchors in times of difficulty and I am so grateful to share the ancient practice and all it has to offer with others.

What I love the most about yoga is that it acts as an antidote to competitiveness and constantly comparing ourselves to others. It grants us permission to work with our bodies and take rest when needed. It is beautiful to practice in community and experience the power of co-regulation. I find it amazing that yoga is so full of lessons for daily life making it such a transformative practice. I believe it’s good not to take it too seriously, be kind to ourselves and have some fun with it.

Morning mindful yoga practice:

What to expect: grounding meditation, gentle, slow and mindful movements to ease into the day, dynamic flowing movement, some restorative poses, mantra (chanting), optional hands-on assists (I’ll always ask if anyone would prefer not to receive), relaxation.
