Step away from the pace of daily life and give your body time to truly unwind. This monthly 2-hour Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release workshop with Leila is a deeply nourishing practice designed to release tension, restore mobility, and support both physical and mental wellbeing.

What to Expect

Each workshop begins with gentle somatic movement, allowing you to arrive fully in your body through slow, mindful motion and breath. These practices help awaken awareness, regulate the nervous system, help you work with acute and chronic pain or stiffness, and prepare the body for deeper release.

From there, the session transitions into a blend of Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release techniques to soften chronic tension, improve flexibility, and encourage profound relaxation.

During the workshop, you will:

  • Begin with grounding Qi Gong and intuitive somatic movement

  • Move through long-held Yin Yoga postures that gently stretch connective tissues

  • Use therapy balls, props and self-massage techniques to release fascial tension

  • Improve joint mobility and circulation

  • Reduce stress and promote deep relaxation

  • Develop greater body awareness and ease of movement

  • Improve athletic performance

  • Leave feeling like you have had a deep tissue massage                                

With more time to move gradually and rest in each practice, the body can release tension more fully, offering deeper restorative benefits than a shorter session.

ABOUT YOUR HOST
 

Leila is a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher specialising in working with a range of pain conditions. She works across physiotherapy, complementary health, and studio settings, supporting clients with both acute and chronic concerns.
 

Her approach blends Eastern and Western methods of body care, integrating techniques such as myofascial release, assisted stretching, trigger point therapy, and acupressure to promote lasting relief and improved movement.

Leila’s work focuses on helping people reconnect with their bodies, reduce tension, and move with greater ease and confidence.

Drawing on her clinical bodywork experience, her workshops combine therapeutic knowledge with accessible mindful movement and myofascial release practices, creating a safe and supportive space for deep release, relaxation, and nervous system regulation.

Leila is also the founder of Wandering Wellness, a holistic wellbeing platform through which she collaborates with experienced practitioners to offer personalised wellness experiences across public, private, and workplace settings.
